Man Found Dead In Hoboken Park: Prosecutor

A man was found dead in Maxwell Place Park on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 15, authorities said.

Maxwell Park is closed due to an investigation.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said they were investigating, along with the Hoboken Police Department. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, authorities said.

Maxwell Place Park was temporarily closed due to the investigation, a spokeswoman for the City of Hoboken said.
